JBS Beef

JBS Beef is the beef unit in Brazil. It is responsible for 42 processing plants in Brazil's main livestock producing regions, ensuring ample access to raw material. Additionally, its 16 strategically positioned distribution centers provide customers in Brazil's biggest beef consuming regions with constant and stable supplies.
The beef unit is capable of processing approximately 45,000 head of cattle every day and it is here that the fresh and processed products are produced and developed for the Swift and Friboi brands. Additionally, JBS Carnes is responsible for producing jerked beef and coordinating 12 laboratories that assess the quality of products shipped by JBS plants every day.
